Do you have a sacred space? In these rapidly changing times many of us are needing to carve time out for Self Care on the daily. Fast paced and frenzied living calls for stillness. Within stillness is a return to our nature: we are pure light. Creating a relationship with the four elements through building an altar is a simple way to get quiet through building sacred space.
Our job titles, our relationships or lack of relationships, our hobbies, and even our desires can assume so much real estate in our identities, but who are we when we take off all those masks? When we are alone and in a safe space, who do we choose to be? Sacred space - sanctuary - is vital to our integrated well beings. The practice of building altars is a technology used in wisdom traditions worldwide to help clarify the mind and open the heart. Yes, altars can be used for rituals, ceremonies, and magic.
The highest form of magic is creating love, harmony and peace inside. So we create altars to bring harmony in physical, spiritual, and supernatural inner worlds as well as our living space. An altar can be charged with your intention to perform any function. So whether you are seeking purification, empowerment, protection, healing, stability, or manifestation, building an altar is a great tool to assist you in the journey.
In this two hour workshop we will learn how to:
- Build a collective Altar for the Summer Solstice and Summer Season
